Thermoelectric materials and devices — converting waste heat and thermal gradients into usable power.

§ 01

About

PHOENIX researches thermoelectric energy conversion: flexible and printable materials, device-level characterization, and the piezoelectric and sensing structures that pair with them. The group builds its own measurement instrumentation, including Transient Plane Source (TPS) thermal characterization rigs, to move from material synthesis to working devices — from lab bench to implantable and wearable power sources.
